March Protocol Report: USDC Yield for $ZFI Stakers

March is wrapped, and here's your monthly protocol report.

As a reminder, Zyfai charges a 10% performance fee on the yield Agents generate. This fee is only taken from earnings, never from principal.

Collected fees are distributed as follows:

  • 100% of protocol fees flow to the DAO treasury

  • 50% is then distributed to $ZFI stakers in USDC (monthly, pro-rata)

  • The remaining 50% goes to protocol operations and R&D under the DAO mandate

This creates powerful flywheels:

A note on fee collection

Currently, Zyfai collects performance fees only when users withdraw. This means more assets under management (AUM) doesn't automatically translate to more revenue for stakers.

We're working on changing this. The new model will collect fees periodically without requiring users to withdraw, making protocol revenue (and staking yield) more predictable.

More details soon.

How to maximize your monthly staking yield?

If you want the highest share of rewards, timing matters.

  • The earlier in the month you stake, the larger your position at snapshot time.

  • Snapshot happens at the end of every calendar month.

  • If you staked in Month A, you receive yield throughout Month B.

  • If you unstake before the end-of-month snapshot, you are excluded from the next month's reward stream.
