August was another strong month for Zyfai Agents. Average Agent APY outperformed static strategies by almost 40%, while protocol AUAM (assets under agent management) grew above $10M. We also got listed on SwissBorg, announced support for Coinbase Tokenized Stocks, became a top 17 app on Base, and, as always, distributed a share of protocol fees in USDC to $ZFI stakers.
This monthly report covers Zyfai's performance in August:
How much Yield Agents generated for users
How Zyfai performed against static pools
How much protocol revenue was collected
How much USDC yield was distributed to $ZFI stakers
What shipped this month
What comes next
August 1–August 31, 2026
Average Zyfai Agent APY (without incentives): 6.26%
Average Static Pool APY: 4.49%
Net Yield Outperformance: 39.20% vs. static DeFi

A comparison chart for Base shows Zyfai's average APY (blue dashed line, inclusive of rZFI rewards) consistently above static USDC pool rates across the month.
For every $100 of yield generated by a static strategy in August, Zyfai Agents generated $139.20.
Static strategies allocate capital once and leave it in the same position. Zyfai's rule-based Agents keep evaluating yield, liquidity, and pool risk, and rebalance when a stronger risk-adjusted opportunity becomes available.
But every allocation starts with capital preservation. Pools are only accessible after they clear the quant team's whitelisting process, while the risk layer continuously tracks pool health, liquidity, collateral conditions, TVL, APY stability, and social sentiment.
Clearstar's independent analysis of its cbAssets Vault provided external evidence of the behavior that supports Zyfai's outperformance. Across 2,100 depositors, Zyfai users were far more likely than direct wallets to exit when yield fell below 6%, while most manual users stayed in the same pool as yields declined. Zyfai Agents instead reallocated positions toward higher-yield opportunities as conditions changed.
The figures below compare weighted APYs by wallet-size cohort, measured net of fees and including rZFI incentives where applicable.

Smaller wallets gained more from faster capital rotation and more aggressive strategies. Larger wallets leaned toward deeper liquidity and more conservative allocations, where even small improvements from rebalancing could still have a meaningful impact on overall returns.

Zyfai charges a 10% performance fee only on yield earned by Agents. The same Agent activity that earns users their yield is what funds the staking stream, so stakers hold a direct claim on protocol performance.
Every fee collected runs through the DAO treasury first, then splits in two:
50% to $ZFI stakers, paid in USDC and distributed monthly on a pro-rata basis
50% to protocol operations and R&D under the DAO mandate
Some Agents managing larger positions can remain in the same pool for more than a week, while the current model collects performance fees only when a rebalance occurs. This reduced the amount collected in August. We’re improving fee collection so fees can also be collected without requiring a rebalance, which we expect to increase protocol fees next month.
Snapshot date: August 31, 2026
Stakers: 2,371
$ZFI staked: 112,804,821 (22.59% of total supply)
Performance fees accrued: $4,610 USDC
$ZFI price at snapshot: $0.0067
Staking amount at snapshot in $ value: $755,792
50% streaming to $ZFI stakers = $2,305 or 3.77% APY
50% allocated to protocol operations and development under the DAO mandate = $2,305
If you want the highest share of rewards, timing matters.
The earlier in the month you stake, the larger your position at snapshot time.
Snapshot happens at the end of every calendar month.
If you staked in Month A, you receive yield throughout Month B.
If you unstake before the end-of-month snapshot, you are excluded from the next month's reward stream.

Throughout August, we continued expanding the product and its distribution:
Got listed on SwissBorg
Integrated Zyfai into the Base App
Shipped a new SMA dashboard for builders, curators, and wealth managers
Built a proof of concept for a risk-pricing mechanism with bond.credit and Cork Protocol
Opened a waitlist and vote for future Coinbase Tokenized Stock Yield Agents on Base
Launched wave 3 of incentives for first-time deposits and top-ups on Base
Rolled out a new light mode interface
Added 14 new Morpho pools
The main priorities for September are:
Launch yield on tokenized stocks
Continue developing more sophisticated yield strategies
Add more product automation to make rebalancing between assets more intuitive and seamless

Average Zyfai Agent APY: 6.26%
Average Static Pool APY: 4.49%
Net Yield Outperformance: 39.20% vs. static DeFi

Zyfai provides self-custodial access to rule-based DeFi strategies. Its Agents allocate capital across curated opportunities and rebalance under defined rules.
Returns are variable and DeFi risks remain. Your assets remain under your control through the supported self-custodial paths.
